Job Description AirVision Planning and Scheduling is a portfolio of products that airlines use for their scheduling, planning and optimizing. It offers an integrated suite of network planning solutions and multi-user decision support environment that helps airlines to manage their schedules and enables them to more easily take a strategic-level look at their networks to improve overall performance and profitability. With more than 100 airline customers around the world it is the industry-leading scheduling and optimization solution. From the technology side AirVision Planning and Scheduling is a multi-tier J2EE application with the server-side components deployed in JBoss application servers and Java Swing client launched through Java Web Start. The data are stored in Oracle database. If you are interested in using the latest technologies, working on a large, complex, concurrent system, heavy on sophisticated data processing, like challenges related to monitoring and improving application performance, creating robust caching, this position is for you.
